Q:Hello! I adore your photos lots. What sort of camera do you use? I'm a real amateur :) Take care xx

xxxina

Hi, xxxina! Thanks a lot and nice to hear from you :)

For most of the photos uploaded here i used a very simple, beginner’s level SLR - Canon 1000D with custom Kit lens (18-55, 4.0), which is not enough of course for dark spaces and such. But the camera has feature of shooting into RAW format, which allows to lavishly post-process the images, which i usually tend to do, in Lightroom+Photoshop (yet for batch shooting/processing this is not an option, i meand you start getting crazy:)

Yet for some of shots - for Nature in park series, in May 2010 -  i used more sophisticated camera - Canon 5D Mark II with Canon 50 mm lens (1.4) and also Canon 16-35 lens (2.8) - but only temporarily, then i returned it to the owner. It was heavier then my camera, but shot better)

And i am an amateur too, really, i always miss to get those aperture-shutter speed-iso combination correctly, and fail the composition; but thankfully i’ve got those post-processing powers :)

Take care and have fun shooting, then it’s worth it! Cheers, Diana.

High Wheel

High Wheel was a video project by Maider Lopez where he digitally removed the main structure of a ferris wheel, making the passenger cars float weightlessly in the air!
